Independence Day 2023 was celebrated in DPS with pomp and gaiety. On this occasion, Chief Guest Tanushree Mehrotra, PVC, Delhi Public School, Dr. Ishita Mehrotra, Vice President, and Secretary of Sitapur Shiksha Sansthan Institute Dr. Suman Mehrotra hoisted the flag. Mass singing of national anthem with flag hoisting evoked the students’ patriotic feelings. Children sang a melodious patriotic song in unison “Mera Desh” on Independence Day. The students showcased a dance “I am the face of new India” very attractively on this occasion. The children of pre-primary wing dressed up as freedom fighters and participated in fancy dress competition. These one after another heart touching performances which made all the audience emotional, awakening the spirit of patriotism and reiterated the message that the nation comes first above all. The enthusiasm of the entire school was at its peak on the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence. On this occasion, Tanushree Mehrotra, PVC addressed the students that freedom brings with its responsibility which we must fulfil. She told the children that they must also do some social work so that others can also be helped. Principal R. K. Singh said that our school Sitapur Shiksha Sansthan is determined to take the students towards a bright future. He congratulated the students and all the staff on this occasion.
