DPS, Sitapur celebrated an enchanting and vibrant ‘DANDIYA FEST – A CELEBRATION OF HAPPINESS’ on 21 October, 2023 to promote cultural diversity and traditions among students. It was inaugurated by Ms. Tanushri Mehrotra, PVC, DPS, Sitapur. Other distinguished guests included Mr. Ashish, Dr. Suman Mehrotra- Secretary, Sitapur Shiksha Sansthan, Dr. Ishita Mehrotra, Dr. Kamal Baijal, Registrar, Principals, Heads of Departments of various colleges in Sitapur Shiksha Sansthan. Headmistress, Senior Wing, Ms. Farah Imam and Headmistress, Junior Wing, Ms. Savita Singh welcomed the dignitaries. The school’s ground was beautifully decorated with traditional motifs, colourful drapes, and beautiful selfie points that created an authentic festive atmosphere. Students, teachers, and even parents enthusiastically participated in the Dandiya and Garba dance. Traditional folk music added to the energy, and colourful costumes enhanced the visual appeal of the event.
