Social-Science Lab
The Social Science Lab is a vibrant and dynamic space within our school. Bathed in natural sunlight, this room is adorned with shelves showcasing clay models depicting various landforms, miniature displays, bronze historical figurines, and an array of wall-mounted models and maps. Both students and teachers extensively utilize these resources. The lab serves as a venue for student projects, role-playing activities, eco-symposiums, and geography practical sessions for classes IX to XII. Its extensive collection of CDs from National Geographic and Discovery Channel, coupled with numerous illustrated reference books, enrich the learning.
Computer Labs
As technology continues to advance, its impact on education has been profound, reshaping our understanding of what schools should offer to students. In this era of rapid technological growth, the computer labs at DPS Sitapur serve as crucial platforms for preparing students to become future technocrats. These labs are not only dedicated to refining the skills of computer enthusiasts but also provide opportunities for novices to gain exposure.
With two distinct labs catering to the senior and junior sections respectively, our computer facilities offer students access to the vast resources of the internet. Each lab is equipped with 40 computers. These labs focus on preparing students for the challenges of the computer world ahead.
Furthermore, our labs serve as spaces where teachers can enhance their skills while working on computers in their designated sections. Whether it is during class hours or beyond, these labs are always bustling with activity, with both teachers and students engaged in productive work.

Physics Lab
The Physics Lab is a state-of-the-art facility furnished with the latest equipment, specifically catering to students from grades VI to XII. The senior wing lab accommodates up to 50 students at once and features a dedicated dark room for light experimentation. In addition to conducting practical experiments, the lab serves as a hub for various inter-house activities organized in the school.
Chemistry Lab
The Chemistry Lab at DPS Sitapur boasts modern equipment and a comprehensive range of chemicals, catering to the needs of students up to class XII. With a spacious and well-ventilated hall accommodating approximately 50 students, the lab also features a dedicated balance room for volumetric analysis. Under the guidance of qualified teachers and lab assistants, students are provided with support to successfully complete their projects and experiments.
Biology Lab
The Biology Lab, generously spaced and adequately ventilated, specifically serves the needs of senior students. Carefully aligned with the latest syllabus requirements, the lab is thoughtfully equipped with models, specimens, charts, chemicals, and other essentials. Additionally, it is self-sustaining with supplementary assets including a hot case, refrigerator, water bath, among others. Supported by highly qualified teachers and lab assistants, the Biology Lab stands as a valuable resource for student learning and experimentation.
Transport
The school operates a fleet of 15 buses for the students and staff, facilitating transportation across Sitapur sectors and designated pick-up points. Each bus is supervised by a teacher, ensuring the safety of the students during transit. In the event of a teacher’s absence, an alternate teacher or a supervisor/security guard is assigned for added safety measures. Furthermore, every student wears an ID card specifying their individual bus route details for efficient coordination.
SMART CLASSROOMS

DPS Sitapur has embraced the integration of Smart Interactive Classes to empower students in their learning journey. Smart Boards have been installed in many classrooms, spanning from Nursery to XII, aligning with the evolving education landscape and augmenting the effectiveness of the teaching-learning process. The primary objective of this initiative is to engage and motivate students by leveraging interactive technology, thereby bringing subjects to life.
The implementation of Smart Boards has yielded positive results, capturing students’ attention, fostering their active participation, and enabling teachers to utilize multimedia resources effectively with the entire class. A balanced approach combining this technology with traditional teaching methods has proven successful, resulting in enhanced knowledge, understanding, and application among learners. Importantly, this initiative ensures that the entire school community benefits from this technological support system.
OUR KNOWLEDGE HUB – LIBRARIES
The diverse needs of both students and faculty members at DPS Sitapur are met through two distinct libraries:
- Senior School Library
- Junior School Library
These libraries offer a comprehensive range of resources tailored to meet the specific academic requirements of their members. With carefully curated collections of books, journals, periodicals, newspapers, and audio-visual media, the libraries constantly update their holdings to remain current.
Senior School Library
Catering to Classes VI – XII, this library boasts a rich collection of documents that support the school’s curriculum. Covering various major disciplines, it includes a reserved reference section accessible only within the library premises. With a spacious reading room, separate reference area for students and faculty, the library provides open access to its users. Membership is open to all students and faculty members, who are issued library cards for transactions. Overdue books incur fines.
Junior Library (Tiny Tots Library)
Designed for students up to class V, this library offers access to multiple documents tailored to their age group and academic needs.
CONFERENCE ROOM
The room exudes a professional atmosphere and offers a comfortable setting for interactions between the Principal and faculty members. With seating for approximately 30 individuals, the air-conditioned hall is equipped with a projector for professional discussions and features elegant curios displayed in glass cabinets for added aesthetic appeal. Despite its formal setting, the room is welcoming and eagerly anticipated by teachers for any opportunity to utilize it.
